Airlifting relief to flood affected in Northern Areas Gilgit-Baltistan
Pakistan's Northern areas of Gilgit-Baltistan are so remote that the land route to provide them with relief after the flood is mostly cut off or very time consuming. The Pakistan army aviation in conjunction US Army's 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade is airlifting for relief & storage as winter is fast approaching, stationed out of Ghazi airbase Tarebla.

Joint Rescue of Flood survivors at an abandoned relief camp
I stumbled upon an Islamic Relief camp managed by Sanih foundation which had been abandoned, leaving 600 people without food for the last 3 days. I called in the local Geo News team who were at the camp within 15 mins. Once the appeal was on air within 20 mins volunteers from Falah e Insaniyat Foundation reached the camp with cooked meals.

Building Make Shift Houses with the Turkish Red Crescent
